Any VPS with 1 vCPU and 1 GB RAM is sufficient for personal use. A Hetzner CX11 or DigitalOcean Basic Droplet costs around $5–6 per month. We can provision one for you as part of the setup if you do not already have a server.
Which AI model will my assistant use?
OpenClaw connects to any AI model via API — Claude, GPT-4, Gemini, or locally-run models like Llama. We configure whichever model you prefer during setup. You will need your own API key for cloud-hosted models.
What happens if OpenClaw stops working?
If you have an active maintenance plan, we respond within 4 hours to any reported issue. Without a maintenance plan, we offer one-time fix sessions billed at our standard hourly rate.
